Peace for Pigeons
A big hello to all the pigeon lovers out there. This site was created to bring attention to the plight of all those poor beaten about pigeons out in those big scary cities, like Venice and London. Every day, pigeons like Bernie, on the left here, take their lives in the effort to escape the torment of their poverty-stricken lives.

Helina
This is the sad tale of a pigeon who was unwanted and kicked out on the streets of New York by Cruella Depigeon, when she was no more than a clump of down, Cruella physically forced her to clean the whole mansion single-clawedly before the sun rose every morning and then subjected her to emotionally traumatic abuse by telling her what her father really was - a dove!
For months, she had no alternative but to rough it with the roughriders pigeon gang of Manhatten who daily tormented cockroaches and beheaded them, then compelled her to eat their bowels.
This went on for months until a kindly elderly lady found her huddled dejectedly under a card board cut out of a dove, on the brink of death itself, and took her in to warmth and shelter at our local sanctuary.
Three years later, Helina is a valued member of the pigeon community and strives towards peace among all pigeons.
Now, she has her own mansion in New York city, the very one that Cruella was forced out of for pigeon abuse.
We have a dream that one day all pigeons will be enjoying the high life like our dear Helina is now.
